VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.

A slow grin pulled at Snapdragons lips, her eyes dancing with humor. His words had gotten a smile that was bigger than before and it eased the faint tension she felt in her body. Leaders were difficult to read, but right now this stallion seemed to be a well behaved sort. He was polite and it had her head dipping before she slowly moved forward, her body moving to be close to him, but not overly close. Her pale body eyed the tree with where she stood, but there was a decent distance between the duo considering the rough terrain around their hooves from the tree having fallen over.


“Well, it is nice to meet you, Arroyo. My name is Snapdragon.” Turning her head, she looked at the stallion with her tail flicking against her hocks. Her eyes held a faint gleam of thought before she turned back to the tree and tilted her head. “For now until we decide an easier way around the burly structure, your herd can come across this side of it and muddle the lines.” Snapdragon would usually never offer that kind of leeway to anyone, but with such a large jungle tree having fallen, he needed a way to check his borders without breaking a leg going over it.


Lifting her head once more and turning to face Arroyo, Snapdragon raised a faint brow as she scanned his frame. He was handsome and seemed to be older than her, the few years most likely having aided in him knowing what to do with his home. She was not privy to anything that had happened in the past, but she did hope her neighbor did not have any issues. “Also, if you ever need assistance feel free to call across the line. I will do my best to respond in a timely manner.” After her words, she stuck out her tongue faintly and chuckled.


“This leader stuff isn't as easy as others make it seem.” Her voice was a whisper, but Arroyo could hear the sentence if he was paying attention to her.
