let me be brave

Oswin did not argue with him when Nahawi declared himself a sorry excuse, though she didn’t think that at all of him. If only she could take all the years of experience she’d had fighting the fight he’d just started and impart the wisdom to him within an instant. The young stallion would understand… But, as she couldn’t do that, Oswin hoped he possessed the fortitude to charge forward into the fight, no matter how hopeless it looked. If Psychedelic was no longer boss in the Lagoon and instead this stallion, clinging desperately to an attempt at change, was the one voted in to become their Boss… there was hope. It meant there was more there than just Nahawi who saw the Lagoon’s potential to be something better than what the islands always thought of it. The passion stirring in her chest was such a welcome feeling after such a long period of dormancy.

Her pink-lined ears flicked toward him as he asked to be taken to Tyr, then confessed he understood it likely meant he might be even more physically wounded. Yet in spite of that and the injuries he already suffered, he was requesting an audience with Tyr. He was willing to take even more of a beating just for the chance to learn from someone with experience in attempting what he had done.

Oswin felt even more that he was what she hoped he was. Nahawi might just have what it took to move forward, even against the metaphorical wave of enemies waiting in the wings to crash down on him. She kept herself from smiling, even though she wanted to, and offered a nod. “I will take you to Tyr.”

He knew her reputation, but his protectiveness over her was unrivaled. Oswin did not doubt there may be a chance Tyr would want to give the stallion at least a smack or a nip for what he’d done here today. She wouldn’t stop him, either. Though it was also just as likely Tyr would see her walking with Nahawi, see how much she had already injured the stallion, and feel as though his queen had done as he knew she would and kept their home safe.

“I won’t let him hit you too hard,” she offered, walking to position herself as a support for Nahawi to use if he so pleased, extra weight to lean up against as he stood up and limped along. It’d take them some time to get to Tyr, but Oswin knew shortcuts to find her king, so they’d reach him soon enough. She still lifted her pink lips out to the air and sang out a beckoning call for him - though if he’d heard the sounds of their physical altercation, he may have already been on the way. They’d run into him soon enough either way, she was sure. Hopefully Nahawi would not have to limp along for too long.

ooc: I was going to stay if we wanted to thread him meeting tyr, we could talk with frost about getting something together, but since so many big changes have happened for nahawi since this thread, we’ll skip it! I’m good with considering this the end to this thread if you are! or if you wanted to post nahawi to wrap anything up with him we can end it after your reply

oswin
this is as brave as I know how to be.
I know it’s gonna hurt you, but please… be a little proud of me.
