I think a ground level shot would be awesome. It could be stationary directly behind the serving player. Video switches even some of the less expensive models can support four cameras. A little trick I notice the cameramen doing at St Jean is with the little stationary camera near the bottom of the front pad on the floor. They will use that angle for replays alone along with their floor camera when the footage is available for replay. Stationary cameras placed correctly can cut a two person camera crew down to one.. The floor camera man. Ideally you would want about 6 stationary HD camera's with zoom capability and a really nice switch console with joystick and zoom and 6 camera inputs. I don't know if the video switch console and director are in the same room as the announcer but it helps.. Replies:
