You are so right! WHB back in the day had a fantastic news department with Wayne Combs and Bob Mead. Great voices and polished delivery. Then they hired some news guy by the name of Ron something or other. So nervous and shakey on air. WDAF AND BZ cleaned WHB's clock, with award winning news departments. While other stations had live reporters at the Republican convention next door, poor old Ron Radio was fumbling through a newscast.
