Sunday 2/18, 2/25 & 3/3 are set up in a new format combining both pelota games & "battlecourt" style partidos. Games 1 through 5 are played as usual, spectacular scoring w/pts doubling after first round of play
Games 1 & 2 are singles games featuring middle game players; games 3, 4, & 5 are doubles games featuring both battlecourt & pelota players on fixed teams, with some teams playing in fixed post positions. It is a tournament format with the team scoring the most total points combined over the 3 Sundays winning a cash prize. The Jai-5 bet is based on games 1 through 5; the daily double stays games 1&2, and there is one pick 3...mighty ocho gets the day off
Games 6 through 11 are "Win Only" 2 team doubles or 2 player singles pari-mutual wagering played with "Battlecourt" scoring--each set is first team/player to 6 pts wins the set & first team/player to win 2 sets wins the match.
It gives those bettors that live in a State that doesn't allow fixed odds betting (like Ct)
