PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

i'm running with the wolves tonight

Serenity hadn't done much since she'd arrived in the Peak. Though it hadn't been as if anything had really been asked of her to begin with. She'd followed the Marceline woman easily enough, desperate to leave Tinuvel behind. Remaining on the mainland was not quite as far as she had imagined. In fact she could see the Cove from the highest peaks of her new home and for the first several months she spent most of her time up there staring at it. It wasn't her family home's anymore, so what did it matter, right? That is until Solomon returned. She'd heard about it one morning passing by some of her chattier sisters.

She did not climb the peak that day.

Serenity had returned to her climbing a short while later, not as if there was much else to do, but she did not return to that particular spot. The sisters had pushed this idea that they were her new family on her and Serenity had done the fake smiles and the bullshit but she wasn't particularly enamored by the idea of living in a coven of women for the rest of her days. Mazikeen had seemingly left her too, and for now this was the best she had.

"Sisters," the voice was eerie, almost sinister, and Serenity had to admit she was intrigued from the first syllable. She approached, taking note of a mare she'd seen in passing, flanked by a child. Serenity was honestly surprised any time she saw children in the Peak. For all the man-hating they sure still seemed to bed them an awful lot, but the young mare kept her mouth shut. She realized she was the first to arrive and fixed her bright ocean gaze on Naydra.

"You called us?" She asked curiously, the emotion evident on her face as if appeared long enough to diffuse the normal disgust that settled in the sharp lines of her face. Serenity had not spoken of her past life before she'd come to the Peak with anyone, though just by looking at her it wasn't difficult to hazard a guess.
