Walking with Raegar, Evangaline let her mind faintly wonder as she looked over the terrain. She knew this part of the islands after having been here for a month, but she did not know it as well as others. She had spent more time in her hole and the forest surrounding this open expanse of area and could find the pretty little flowers that grew in the darkness. However, if you were to ask her to find something else she would look at you dumbfounded with how she was drawn to flowers, the good and bad ones.


Hearing him speak, she gave him an ear perked his direction as she took in everything he said. It seemed he had been in Salem his whole life, or at least from what she understood. She did not know Raegar farther than just his name and she would not be prying any time soon to learn more about him. Everyone deserved to grow and bond before one dug their claws into your hide and expected any and all answers for whatever they asked. She was too soft to even start that let alone too depressed to even begin that game.


“Oh.” She finally hummed, her voice light as she scanned the land before them. “I came from Japan.” She was not sure how far away that was from these islands as she lost track of her time at sea, but she knew where she hailed and where she would never go back. “I won't be going back to that place in my lifetime.” Snorting, the mare shook out her head before tilting the grey body part and scanning him. She wanted to ask if he knew of anywhere with flowers that were pretty in Salem, but she was already a burden enough without asking useless questions.
