Flytrap

Shifting light hooves over the soil moved a white horse. Very few specks of blue roan coloring showed through the white, but the mare in which held that coloring moved with a sticky sweet grace. Her blue eyes gleamed with mischief and her tail raised high above her haunches like a flag of pure innocence. Her body was mostly untouched and young, but she held a secret tight to her heart as she pranced her way through Paradise as if she owned the place. She was a guard, a member of the main herd under Snapdragon, but the mare named Flytrap did not let that stop her as she pranced her way through the jungles and listened to anyone and everyone that moved around the territory.
Moving like a gaited Tennessee walker, the mare held a smile as her body moved fluidly at its trot towards the ocean. Her blue eyes scanned the sun-kissed sky, but she never made a sound louder than her hooves thumping the soil that turned from hard packed dirt into soft and shifting sand. Her white legs balanced themselves with a grace only her sires side held. Flytrap was a mutt through and through, but it was easy enough to see she was gaited as she took on that pace and almost flew across the oceans edges. Her ears were perked and her white mane flew behind her, but she contained her excitement for this jaunt.
Weaving over the shores, Flytrap made her way over the sands and to a small hill. Her body came to a stop on the raised sand and dirt before she reared up on hind legs, excitement clear upon her face as she stood there under the sun. She had come to the islands a while back, but now she had a home and she was free. She guarded the territory with her flower named leader and watched as other horses made their way here. She liked others, but to a point Flytrap was a lonely kind of mare and enjoyed small bursts of time with others, hence why when she landed on all fours she sent out a searching call for company.
