UK has gotten a couple of good transfers however, Calipari sometimes seems to have some sort of obligation to play the freshman at times. Even at times when they aren’t playing well. He has said he is trying to “getting this guy going” or trying to “let him play through it”.
The talent on some of these guys is undeniable and I think he needs to still get some of these guys, but he has lacked big experienced physical players and any sense of continuity within the program. Nobody stays beyond one year because the next new group coming in will get preference on playing time. The other guys have to go to the league or transfer.
We will see going forward as he has promised a change and officially will back next year. Replies: There have been no replies.
