Details to the old BLS ambo when we did it were not variances. FF/PM detailed is also not a variance. Detailing an EMT would not be either. Which means the city is free to detail any FF/EMT to an ALS ambo if 1 and 1 is allowed. I would love to see the “EMT” detailed to the ambo every day be one of the medics who dropped but holds on to his license. All the “EMTBP” codes in TeleStaff get the details.
