Desert

Fall had come and gone, leaving Lucifer proud of one simple fact. He had stolen a mare from Helios and he was far from finished causing a rift in the Salem territories. His black and withered heart begged to cause more trouble for the island of desert and heat, but he refrained for a little while after taking that mare Vana from Helios. However, the stallion could only stay away from Salem so long and it caused him to part from the Lagoon and head over to the territory in which he was waiting for another to pick a trophy from.


Rising from the surf, Lucifer realized something was not quite right. The air whipped around him and sent a chill down his spine, causing his ears to tuck back against his poll. Dark red eyes flicker over the cold territory before a strong gust of wind hits him and forces his hooves to move. He tucked his head low to his chest, but the black beast did not stray from his direction as he pads over the ground that was covered in a very wet and cold substance. He had not seen it before and now that he had, the demon did not wish to be out in it longer.


Shoving his way through some brush that was more like dead sticks, Lucifer set his eyes on something in the distance and moves. He had been walking for a long while, time having slipped away and his ears growing frosted at the tips and numb. He was suffering frostbite on his ears, but the black beast tuned out the pain that had once been there and now just held the black objects in his mane as best as possible. He would lose the tips, but that was something he would end up dealing with later on after he found shelter.


Shaking his head, the black giant moved until he found a cave-like thing. He was unsure of if he should enter, but when the rain pelted against him and froze in his mane more, the giant sighed and traveled into the deep hole and soon enough bedded down. He was not here for anyone else but himself and that would be his downfall. Curling his head against his legs, Lucifer closed his eyes and fell into slumber.
