Some of you youngsters may be too young to remember the "Super Outbreak of 1974". Some 148 tornadoes touched down in the Ohio Valley & Great Lakes killing 300+ people and injuring 6000. At least 30 of the tornadoes were F4s and 6 of them were F5s. Nine of the most powerful storms were on the ground at the same time.
