why do you think they are rehiring FFPMs off shift again? the fines dont hit right away and IDPH certainly does issue fines in addition to the region. The one thing that is being done every time an ALS company leaves the house is an ALS assessment which is what allows the city to bill an ALS1 rate on everything regardless of the level of transport. That ALS assessment is more valuable than you know and probably the reason you advent heard of the BLS company leaving someone to die on an invaild assist.
