He’s gone. Really odd situation. Apparently he felt he “no longer had support of school or fans”.
Win a single game in March and you have support, but I digress.
It will be interesting to see who they try to hire. Early rumors are Danny Hurley ( why would he live UCONN), Scott Drew, Nate Oates, Jay Wright and Billy Donovan.
Good news is UK is now not obligated to a hefty buy out for Calipari but will have to spend big bucks to get a big name.
