The trek back with the mare was annoying. Lucifer’s red eyes rolled more times than he cared to admit He had only challenged for her to show Helios he was harboring weaklings and it seemed even the lead stallion himself was weak. It made the dark stallions' hearts race a bit faster with that fact, knowing in a few more seasons he would be going back… but this time for mares with foals. He could wreck havoc by a two for one deal, leaving Helios without his spawn while growing the Lagoon.

As they arrived on the banks of her new “home”, Lucifer could not help the curling grin once he had her where he wanted her. Turning to the mare that acted as if she was going to die, he snorted and gave her his most chilling grin, his canine teeth on full display with the stretch of his smile as he lowered his head to her, ears perked and flaming eyes almost dancing like a real flame. “I want a taste of your pretty flesh and to hear you scream for those you love while I taint your soul.” He never was one to lie and it showed upon his face as he stared her down, his large hooves slowly eating the tiny bit of space between them. “And finally when you can't scream anymore…” He left the sentence there, dangling as he turned away from her and slowly moved. “You can keep up or you can drown in the bog. Let's see how pretty you are when the rest of the group finds you.”
