Fitzmaurice and his band of nitwits told the younger medics to contribute to his "PAC Fund" and created an executive board to go against the Local 2 executive board. By doing so, they created a "rival organization" that was a by-law violation. IAFF President concurred with the executive boards motion to declare this a "rival organization", then nothing was done until a retired member who had a personal dislike against Fitz filed charges. The younger medics followed Fitz and Robin down the rabbit hole who kept their names off any documents that were required to be filed in Springfield. L2 PAC already endorsed Rahm and recommended to the EB who voted up the endorsement. Fitz was promised to be named commissioner if Chuy was elected, so he had a reason to hang everyone out to dry. Money disappeared too, no one received a check once the rival organization was disbanded. They were all found guilty because only 7 are allowed to be charged at a time. Ryan asked this to not go forward to other members which was agreed upon. 7 members were found guilty, fines imposed and lesson learned. It had nothing to do with "Local 2 brought charges against medics who voted against the endorsement" since that was the calling card by the nitwits to rile everyone up.
