Slowly moving through the Inlet territory was a golden hued mare. Eyes of a soft brown held a smile upon their depths as the horse named Lucine padded her way through the land in which she called home. Her two toned mane and tail softly fluttered with the spring breeze and her coat held dappling color from a season well spent. She was growing rounder and rounder by the day, but now that spring had come and her body had decided, Lucine did not act with fear or pain. Instead, the mare who was in labor went on her way. She left the herd behind and searched for a secluded spot in the large area.
Humming under her breath, Lucine went towards the dense forest, her mind and body set on a little hidden area in the dense trees. As she managed to reach that spot, the mare's pain grew until she was moving about to have her child that now she was bringing into the world. Her labor was easy and went smoothly, but her heart raced just a tad. She was not all too sure if her child would rise like normal, but as she watched the youngling she could only smile as she cleaned the little colt off and breathed a sigh of relief. He was a gorgeous specimen and reminded her a lot of Ganondorf, her son that she had watched grow into the horse he was now. That boy had more growing to do, but Lucine would let that all slide as she turned her head and looked over towards where she had come from.
Opening her lips, the golden mare cried out towards her stallion. Nicodemus deserved this chance unlike last time. He should meet their son on the day he came to life, not weeks later where the foal was already fully walking and running. Smiling again as she let her voice fade, Lucine looked down to her son and wondered what her male would claim as this sons name.
