THAILAND OPEN 2012 - THURSDAY 27 SEPTEMBER - By David Barnes September 27, 2012 at 03:26:24 PM THAILAND OPEN 2012 - WEDNESDAY 26 SEPTEMBER - By David Barnes September 26, 2012 at 06:59:59 PM THAILAND OPEN 2012 - TUESDAY 25 SEPTEMBER - By David Barnes September 25, 2012 at 06:26:52 PM So we have another home DC tie, against Russia, to be played April 5-7 next year. What's the betting it'll be back in Glasgow? And anyone want to predict whether Andy will play, after his positive experience in the Olympics??? :-) If they do decide to come back a bit further south, I'll see about maybe arranging a group again, if enough people are interested. - By Jean September 19, 2012 at 09:38:16 PM Bit slow out of the blocks (!), but, yes, I'll definitely be interested, but not if it's still in Glasgow. Should Andy play - & with a classy doubles team in the form of Hutchins & Fleming - I think we could beat Russia. Without Andy, forget it! - By Vicky October 9, 2012 at 10:04:11 PM Re(1): So we have another home DC tie, against Russia, to be played April 5-7 next year. I miss the amazing atmosphere of DC live. - By liz September 20, 2012 at 02:02:43 AM Many congratulations Andy Murray on your historic victory in New York. It capped a perfect day for sport GB. - By liz September 11, 2012 at 11:32:06 AM Clever Laura Robson! Well done! - By Linda September 1, 2012 at 02:38:08 AM Congratulations Bjorn and John on your doubles win - you cannot be serious:-) - By liz August 20, 2012 at 12:12:58 PM Yes, very well done to Andy Murray. I have noticed how Tim has come into his own as a commentator these Olympics, he is so free with this thoughts & feelings where his country is concerned. Still a little bitter sweet - but nobody wanted this to happen more than Tim. - By LINDA August 5, 2012 at 09:16:03 PM
Congratulations on your medals today - Andy Murray and Del Po. - By liz August 5, 2012 at 08:21:37 PM (no subject) - By liz August 5, 2012 at 08:20:30 PM Well done, Murray and Watson, More medals to add to the team GB total tomorrow:-). Good Luck in both finals, although I still hold out hope for Federer...? - By liz August 4, 2012 at 09:48:33 PM Wow what an opening ceremony - kept us guessing right up to the end! - By Liz July 28, 2012 at 04:47:48 AM Turns out Tim is a torchbearer after all - he'll be carrying it through Wandsworth sometime today. - By Jean July 23, 2012 at 02:50:11 PM (no subject) - By Liz July 9, 2012 at 00:37:34 AM murray - By lesley July 6, 2012 at 11:46:42 PM Well done to Murray. There doesn't seem to be the joy though. Not like if another player we all love had got there. - By Linda July 6, 2012 at 11:21:15 PM
I know he's been around a while and won everything, but I'm still glad Federer won last night, he is such a treat to watch. (Never heard of the Frenchman before). It's looking like a Djokovic Wimbledon ..... - By Linda June 30, 2012 at 02:36:35 PM Blimey! Hello Rosol! I never heard of you before today but I think you're going to be all over the papers tomorrow. What an amazing match. Can't say I'm too upset at the outcome as I do get sick of seeing Nadal pulling his underpants out of his bum, he seemed extra agitated tonight. Not quite sure if he was off form a bit, or that Rosol was just playing inspired tennis, if so, will he keep it up? .. or will he be a journeyman? - By Linda June 29, 2012 at 03:22:42 AM Tim is commentating at the moment on the Sweeting v Tipsarevi match (as at 6.55pm, Wednesday) - By Linda June 27, 2012 at 10:50:00 PM Quite a few years ago, maybe 2002 or 2003, there was a cartoon in the Daily Mail, .. it was of a woman wearing a teeshirt with "Tim" on, holding a little Union Jack flag, on a psyciatrist's couch with a worried expression on her face, and the psyciatrist saying to her "you can't worry about Tim Henman's chances at Wimbledon now, it's only February" (or something very like that). Well, that woman was ME!! although the cartoonist, Pugh (I think), didn't know so .. more inside .. - By Linda June 21, 2012 at 11:14:33 PM Re(1): Quite a few years ago, maybe 2002 or 2003, there was a cartoon in the Daily Mail, .. it was of a woman wearing a teeshirt with "Tim" on, holding a little Union Jack flag, on a psyciatrist's couch with a worried expression on her face, and the psyciatrist saying to her "you can't worry about Tim Henman's chances at Wimbledon now, it's only February" (or something very like that). (Don't mean it's a bad piece, just that the subject matter isn't of as much interest as if it would be if it had been about Tim himself). I suppose we might be seeing/hearing a bit of Tim now which adds a bit of added pleasure to life!! - By Linda June 17, 2012 at 10:31:36 PM Down with Nalbandian, aka The Sweaty One. He should have apologised to the poor linesman he injured, never mind his half hearted, "I'm a victim" style 'apology' to the crowd. I never did like him and I know he & Tim had an edge. AND, the commentary team kept bringing up Tim's default of 1000000 years ago. At least he apologised IN FULL, including a kiss and a bouquet of flowers to the unfortunate ball girl. - By Linda June 17, 2012 at 09:32:55 PM ROLAND GARROS 2012 - MONDAY 11 JUNE - By David Barnes June 11, 2012 at 08:13:56 PM ROLAND GARROS 2012 - SUNDAY 10 JUNE - By David Barnes June 10, 2012 at 11:30:44 PM
