Forget-Me-Not
IP: 173.50.89.152

Name: Seikui (pronounced: See-Que)

Gender: Female

Appearance: Her eyes are storm-cloud grey, hair copper red, skin well tanned though in the winter goes back to pale

Defects: She has sudden episodes of amnesia, only last a few hours to a day, but she will completely forget who she is, where she is, who is around her, though she does Usually maintain her basic skills, walking, talking, thinking, etc... sometimes she'll get pretty disoriented and start speaking jibberish or walk backwards or on her hands and knees. These episodes are infrequent, only happening three or four times a year

Age: 25

Personality: She is sweet and loving and extremely sensative, she hates having having her episodes because she knows that it hurts people when she forgets who they are. She is also a great listener, she isn't the type of person to try to give advise she just wants to comfort whoever it is that is confiding in her, and she never betrays their confidence.

History: At one point in time she had a family, a mom and a dad and several brothers and sisters. Then the floods came to her land and she lost them all. Her entire house, with her family inside, was swept into a deep current and were found 3 weeks later dead, if she hadn't been in the fields she would have been with them, that is when the amnesia started.

Sample post: It was happening agian, though she didn't know what was going on. Seikui just stared at the crossroads and couldn't remember why she was there, she couldn't even think of her name at the moment. Seikui sat down in the middle of the road, trying desprately to figure out who she was and where she was supposed to go. She didn't understand why this feeling of complete ignorance felt so familiar.
Ok talk yourself through this....
She searched her mind for a name to call herself but faltered and eventually gave up,
Just talk yourself through this Self.
Even though she didn't know it yet, she was lucky this was just a minor episode.
You were facing this way... Self... so that must mean that you were going this way... right? or maybe I got turned around and I was going the other way...
She looked around confused, her brows creating a deep crease in her forehead.
Or maybe I'm supposed to wait for someone here?
She felt the sting of tears in her eyes and fought to keep them from falling, though why she attempted to do so was beyond her. She pulled her knees up to her chin and wrapped her arms around her legs, trying to comfort herself with a rocking motion. Seikui didn't know how long she sat there, a few minutes? a few hours? She couldn't remember. All she knew was panic has started to set in and she had no idea what to do.
She stood up and began skulking towards the edge of the road where she would be less in the way should some one actually using the road want to pass. She put her hands in her pockets and felt a piece of paper. For a moment, her panic subsided as curiosity took over. Opening up the small bit of parchment, she noted how it seemed rather old, like someone had read and re-read it repeatedly. She began to read, though she felt as if she was prying into someone else's personal space, she had to know why it was in her pocket.
Dear Person,
You're probably wondering where you are and what you were doing and even what your name is. Rest assured that everything will be alright! I should know, I'm you.

She paused here, confused as to why "she" would want to write herself a note, what could drive her to do such a thing? She contiued reading, half afraid that this note was a hoax, half hoping that it might bring some comfort.
Don't freak out. I know it seems rather odd that you would write yourself a note, but by the time you finish you will believe me. Do me a favor, look at your left hand, you should see a scar that runs from between your thumb and forefinger all the way up to your elbow
Seikui shifted her gaze to her hand, and saw the start of the scar. She slowly unbuttoned the sleeve on her blouse and pulled the fabric up above the bend in her elbow. She saw the faint scar run all the way up her arm and finally fade near where the vein showed in the bend. She looked back at the note, a little more confident that she, whoever she was, had written it.
That is a scar that we you have had since you were 17, I couldn't think of a better way to help you realize that this is not some cruel joke. I needed a way to prove that I am you, with that out of the way let me try to explain what is going on. What you're going through right now is a amneisic episode. Don't worry it will pass by the time you wake in the morning. Your name is Seikui, you were born and raised on a farm. 8 years ago you lost your family to a flash flood, it destroyed your entire home and most of your farm
Seikui noticed a cluster of tear drop stains that appeared to be layered over years of reading the note. She finally let the tears she had been holding back for so long fall freely and watched as they joined the others, creating yet another layer of stains.
You will be just fine believe me. You should have a pack with you that contains everything necessary to make camp. Settle down where ever you and get some food and some rest. In the morning everything should be back to normal and you will no longer be in the dark about what you are doing and where you are going.
Sincerely, Seikui

She couldn't understand why she trusted this note but she searched through the pack anyway and found that it did indead contain the makings of a camp, a tarp, some flint and tinder, a sleeping roll and some jerky wrapped in thick parchement. In no time at all Seikui finished setting up camp and settled down by the fire, hoping with every fiber of her being that she would wake up tomorrow not wondering who or where she was.

Anything else you wish to include: nothing that I can think of except that I hope I'm accepted.
