Was at the late show...the Ape's (also known as the L. brothers) got to finally meet Bill J. It truly was a great moment for us. I told one of my brothers to get my back as I thought Bill might take a swing at me after all these years of giving him grief about politics and sports and you he did! But it was in jest (although I wonder if deep down inside...) But really we told Bill how much we loved BT and their music and he was totally cool.
As for the show...it was as good as it gets and it seemed to me like these guys have not lost a step. The set list included (but was not limited to) (this is from a drunken memory)...Velvet Roof, Mineral, Summer's Gone, Racheal, Sunday Night, You'll Never catch Him, Tangerine, Frozen Lake to close and I think 5 new songs. I'm sure there are at least a couple of songs that I'm forgeting. All the new stuff was good. I think only one was a Chris song. The first new song they played I think may have been called Down...sounded very good and also a real rock and roll song which was played right before Frozen Lake was excellent.
