Over at ITV we get round this thorny problem by having a seven minute commercial break after every question.Added to the compulsory fourteen minute waffle time built into the QM's contract this gives the contestant well over twenty minutes to consider their options.So if you were to start your quizzes on a Tuesday you could still finish at the usual time on Wednesday night.And as an added bonus you would be able to pay the QM half a million spondulecks per appearance.
