The Carden Alvar Christmas Bird Count will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011. I started this count back in 1998 and since then we have had several interesting birds recorded for the count. The circle includes the communities of Sebright, Uphill, Head Lake, Corsons, Victoria Road, Kirkfield, Bolsover and Udney.
If anyone is interested in participating in this count on Sunday let me know today or tomorrow. We usually observe open area birds as well as winter finches and owls most years. Replies: There have been no replies.
