"Cedar Waxwings 84% fruit annual diet; almost exclusively fruit in winter & early spring; during spring period when fruit scarce, flowers comprise a large portion of the diet (44% of May diet)."
I too had not realized that C. Waxwings were such big flowers eaters at this time of year.
