Where else in Ontario or for that matter Eastern Canada could you observe what you described in your post other than Carden. Add Wilson's Snipe, Eastern Bluebird, Grasshopper Sparrow and Brown Thrasher down in the grasslands and you have the setting only to be found in Carden Alvar.
