Having secured victory last night we eagerly consulted the league table. Imagine our disappointment to find we had actually dropped from second place to third. Even more bizarrely the Charabancs whom we had beaten had moved up from tenth to ninth. Something to do with point differences I understand (well I don't really which is why I never choose maths questions in the quiz if I can avoid them). Such paradoxes certainly strain the brain-perhaps I should get out more to speedway racing.
