Re(6): Police pension trustee

Roy, don't know what you perceived from my comments nor what apathy you sensed from 'several sources'. I believe we've had this conversation before. You previously said something about being thrown out of or not being let in a retirees group but I don't know which one nor why nor does it really matter. But which side of apathy are you on? The one that wants to help and make a difference or the side that wants to sit back and complain and do nothing? You don't have to do a thing but be a part of the group, eat some free food and show your support. Yet you and many others refuse to do just that and we don't know why. Something as simple as coming to a meeting or lunch and seeing old friends is a problem for many. I don't have an answer to that. For a few years now, there have been no battles. The meetings and lunches are fun and friendly, just a social thing with occasional updates of what is going on with the pension or a visit by a politician looking for support. The Pension Chairman shows up once in a while too. And to answer your final question, no, I do not want to meet you for lunch. But I'd be glad to see you at a meeting or lunch sometime.
