I believe there is a documented population of wild bobcats on Aquidneck.(I have seen one two summers ago at the Tiverton/Fall River line where I live) To the untrained eye they are often mistaken for Mountain Lions. Someone needs to get a trailcam out there and see if pics can be taken.
