This could go on and on. I have distinct memories of football matches leading to postponements and when my wife collapsed (we were going to play 3 handed anyway at the White Swan)I rang up to concede the points but Ethel immediately said we should postpone. The re-match was several weeks later not 6 days. We are a friendly league with few rules. Mike was kept fully informed throughout. If people want to make it a firm rule no postponements then well and good but not after the event. I think there is a rule abour retrospective effect.
