Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

The crystal hearted hold the most value;;

The full moon was bright tonight, lighting the whole new Moladion, seeming so happy. The stars decorated the dark sky, shimmering ever so slightly and giving a touch of hope with it’s bright silvery carpet. The taller trees bend gently to the side as calm and cold breezes coming from the east caressed it’s leaves playfully. Only a few older leaves would give up and succumb to the soothing wind. Deep within the mysterious forest, remain a secret. Not even the owls in their pure wisdom knew about this wonderful secret. In my search for the perfect place, it had been revealed to me. I have been looking for the perfect place, for my perfect love… Dusk. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. With a crystal heart… So valuable so pure and kind. I like to show my affection for her everyday, with a gentle lick between her ears before leaving our den to hunt for her… A warm lick on her cheek, a soft kiss, when I returned. Never forgetting to say good night before sleeping by her side. Waiting patiently for her to wake up and say good morning to her before leaving our den. I would be there for her, always.

I wanted to do something especial for her. Something that no other wolf would ever have. I thought and searched and finally, after two months of hard work, it was ready for her. I took a little bit more to make everything perfect for her and make a few final adjustments. I hunted too, a very especial meal was waiting for her! I stood in the middle of a clearing, close to a big rock. I told Dusk to be here. She would see this rock from far away since it is so big. I know she can find it and that I can trust her. I could hear her sweet voice, humming a cute tone as she approached from a distance. I raised to my paws as I heard her beautiful voice. My head twisted as my violet eyes searched for my lovely mate. Where was she? My tail already wagging in anticipation as my heart raced. Took a little bit, but I found her form waiting for me at the other side of the big clearing. Her pelt seemed to steal the moon’s light for itself as it shine gracefully at the night. I slowly approached her, my tail waving behind me and a warm smile on my face. With smooth movements and a touch of grace to my steps I approached her. My muzzle reached out to give her a lick on her cheek, a soft kiss, to show my affection for her. My gaze searched for hers, to look into her eyes. I missed her! Muzzle moving to gently wrap around her neck and pull her into a warm wolfish hug.

- I missed you!

It’s not been so long, I know! But every second without her felt like an eternity. I held her close, wanting to feel her coat against mine, to hear her heart. I waited a few seconds before finally speaking.

- I have something very especial for you, love! - I whispered to her before pausing for a second - Close your eyes for a second… And listen… Can you hear it? - I whispered very softly to her. My ears twitched.

I called her attention to a very faint sound. Something not so distant from us, but so faint that none could listen if they didn’t pay attention. The sound of a waterfall. It came from behind us, from a cave hidden in the side of this big rock. I gently let go of her.

- Come with me!

I invited her as I turned and started walking, guiding her. Should she come… I walked slowly, circling the rock. My head raised to look at it for a moment, before I found the entrance of a cave. I entered. It was clear now that the sound came from within this cave. It was not dark, a few holes at the top allowed the moonlight to filter and light the way for us as we walked. Rocky sculptures were formed along the way through the walls. The cave grew larger as we sunk deeper. It took less than a minute for us to reach the place I wanted to show her.

The water dropped from high above in a pool of crystal clear water in the middle of the cave. It was huge and the top of the cave had a hole which allowed us to see a bit of the sky and the beautiful moon. White flowers surrounded the beautiful pool. I came to a halt, beside the waterfall, stepping to the side to allow her a good view of the beautiful place. The moonlight was reflected on the water and gave the place a silvery and white look. The water reflection danced gracefully on the walls. I waited for her to come, twisting my frame and looking at her, inviting her with a wave of my tail. My head turned to look at my gift for her, which laid beautifully close to the water.

A bed of purple rose petals. I found beautiful purple roses this spring while I was searching for the perfect gift for my Dusk… and I took every purple rose petals I could find and spread them here, making a beautiful purple bed for her to lay on, comfortable… The vibrant color would only emphasize her beauty when she laid on it. I have hunted for her a rabbit which laid close to the rose petals.

My head turned and my gaze searched for hers. I was nervous, hoping she would like it. I had one last thing to show her. I am going to sing for her tonight, I have never really sang to anyone and I am very nervous.

- Isn’t it beautiful? - I asked her. My voice showed how nervous I was - Come! Rest here…

I gestured towards the rose bed. I am so nervous! I really hope she likes what I did for her!
