Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

calista

If there was one thing Calista had grown to love more than anything else in her rose coloured world - it was when her joy was reflected in others. She had tried for so very long to force it upon her Pater and siblings, but they were stubborn to change and remained, well, less than joyous. But this boy with the sky eyes? He was happy, too! He waved and grinned and did not cower within anger or grief as so many had before. Her like for the boy was almost instantaneous for those reasons alone - meeting another jovial soul had always been difficult but even more so in the new world.

As he spoke, her ears flickered about curiously, head tilted to and fro for a moment as she came to a leisurely stop before him. In one fluid movement, she settled back upon her haunches, her thick fox-like tail looping delicately around her paws. She remained with the same slightly agape and awed expression as he merely shrugged the marking off, and when he finished, she frowned and huffed slightly. Extending a paw to him, she pawed momentarily before speaking, her words much more stern this time.

"It is special, your mark," she nodded, confirming her own words as true (or at least, they were true to her but that's what was important), "My siblings are with markings, too, yes. Red like blood, they are, but we are knowing them as Angel Marks. Perhaps you have Angel Mark too, yes, but of white - the colour of true Angels."

Pater had always said that the purest of white was a symbol of Angels - true Angels from the great skies. It made sense to Kael and Calista all those years ago. Heyel was the Angel King and always would be; the purest, strongest and best of all Angels in Calista's eyes. And now she was sure she had met a new kind of Angel - with pure markings and the colour of the very forest and loam. She smiled broadly at her apparent revelation, her head nodding once more as if to reaffirm the fact that this boy - her stranger - was indeed special.

Lynk. He spoke his name with all the excitement she often spoke her own with, and for a moment she blinked slowly - it was an unusual name (to her at least). Simple... easy to say. Truly it was the easiest name to say to date that she had found - her thick accent often made words tricky for her but now, she had made a friend of whom she did not need to worry about embarrassing! Wiggling with excitement, she extended her muzzle towards him, eyes livid and warm before she spoke.

"I am Calista, yes, of the Great Mountain," she allowed her gaze to flicker in the direction of Spirane, where in the distance the great mountain spire could just be seen towering above the landscape, "But I was of the Angel Lands before the fire sky! Of Trenus. But now - Spirane!"

She giggled as she retracted, though little did she know Lynk probably had no true about what she spoke of. Many did not know of the Old Moladion but she would learn of such a thing one day and perhaps one day soon. Again, her head tilted, brows furrowing into a curious frown and tail continued to sway by her delicate paws.

"Where are you being from, Lynk? I know not your scent, only that it is mostly these rocks and waters, yes," an earnest question, though within her she hoped he said of nowhere and that he would follow her to Mother Moonglow's pack. It had been so long since she had, had another to play with; she would bring her beloved Swallowbane a friend, too! Oh - they could hunt and all sing together! Wouldn't it be superb?
