Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

calista

Different was an understatement when it came to her and her family; it was not like her bloodline to be the giggling, bouncing mess that had become of her. Even Isola and Sinopa remained solemn at times, though kind as they were and their brothers? She could not for the life of her imagine any of them smiling and playing as youngsters did - they never truly had done so. Not even her favorite niece, Ava, was like that - she had scoffed at Calista's love for the snow all but two years ago. Calista, though? She had been born delicate - she had been born without the fighting will of her siblings and had always detested her birthright as a princess. She'd never wanted to be as such, and had never acted as such because of it. She'd spent her days exploring the cliffs and caves rather than sitting by learning of diplomacy; in their two years of wandering, she had dedicated her time to spreading a contagious cheer to others rather than brooding and plotting.

She did not wish to fight evil off by tooth and claw, no, no. If she were to fight it off, she would fight it off with small kindness and play bows.

She had noticed the boy's sudden drifting, his mind floating off to some distance land more than likely. Her first response was to giggle lightly before shifting her head so that his gaze was practically forced to focus on her. She'd been just about to bat him lightly with her paw when he finally came back; her paw had floated up an inch or two in preparation for her light tap, but now she quickly slammed it back to the ground with a quiet thud. She'd get him next time, yes. He was a loner - a thought that made her features fall flatter, more sympathetic. Her Pater had never liked loners but she? She had adored them - they were story tellers, always. But nonetheless, their stories often told of loneliness and abandonment.

"Not be seeing mountains? Oh, you have missed out, yes! They are most beautiful - tall forests with the greatest stone you have ever seen touching the heavens!" she suddenly whipped back into her excited flurry, motioning up and up with her muzzle and around to the forests in a sweeping motion, "The stars - oh yes! You can go all to the top of the stones and see them all! Mother Moonglow is saying the caves are safe, too, but I do not be liking them so much because I cannot see the stars."

She frowned slightly at the mention of the caves, huffing lightly under her breath at the thought of them. Pater had always spoken of bad, bad wolves living in the caves but she did not think Spirane had those - but nonetheless, the caves were dark and deep. She had gone in once before but never again - instead, she had found herself a small nook atop the mountain's peak for her home.

"I can show you, yes? Moonglow would certainly be letting you stay one night if you are wishing for a warm den - she is most kind. Kinder than all the wolves, yes," she nodded, wiggling once with joy before reaching out and nudging him slightly on the shoulder with her muzzle, "We can be adventuring on the way if you be liking! I know pretty places with much jumping and climbing to do!"
