Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

It had been so long since he had seen her; a familiar face in the midst of it all was a sudden breath of fresh air. How long had it been? Did she still remember him? They'd been pack mates, after all, but he still remembered meeting her even before that - she'd always been so kind. Sometimes it was hard to imagine her as a Warrior - admittedly, the first time he'd seen her in action had been quite a shock. It had been the night they had marched after Tobias and, well, she had a good go at him - honestly, he had been impressed. Still, she had a heart of gold.

He'd watched her break through the tree line and for the moments she was not looking at him, he tried his damnedest to make his pelt a little more... presentable. He hadn't really planned for company and, well, it was old company at that - his idea of going for a swim wasn't looking so good now. Of course, luck had never really been on his side and within moments, she had spied and recognised him. Time to face an old friend looking like an imbecile; he couldn't hide it either. He grinned sheepishly at her, his tail waving limply behind him though he trotted forward at her approach.

"What's happened here, huh?" repeated with a chuckle, motioning with his muzzle to the water and raising a brow, "You mean to tell me you've never gone for a mid-summer's dip? You simply must try it, Belinda!"

He winked then, grinning playfully as he trotted back to the water line, twisting back to face her before once more motioning to the river. If he was going to look like a fool, why not let her look one too, huh? Besides, she'd probably be feeling the heat just as much as he - already he could feel it burning at his back.

"It's so great to see you again, Bel, but I think it's time you learnt to swim," he again chuckled, lowering his two front paws into the water up to his ankles as he waited. Would she come? Would she test out the waters? What better way to spend a summer day then in the cool depths with an old friend, right?
