Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

I just told my babies to stay in the den because I would go back soon. They are two years old and I know they need more space, more time for themselves. I will allow them to explore the place by themselves, but I would be there just following and taking care of them. Of course, in time they would be more distant. But I believe everything will be okay. I would always be there for them. My own mother had never been there for me, but I would not commit the same mistake. I love my babies. They both have good hearts.

I just wanted some moments to myself and I would also take a few things to show them. Well I hope they like what I am going to teach them. So when they need any help and I am not there, they can take care of themselves.

Not so long later, I heard pads against the ground not too far away from me. My head lifted and my ears pricked forward in attention. Someone, another female emerged from the wood, her tail wagged slowly behind her and there was a small smile on her face. She didn’t mean harm. It is good to see another wolf around. My crooked tail thumped on the ground as she approached more and then finally, she spoke. A single world, it is simple, but it makes me happy. I let a smile break through my lips. I was about to say hi to her when I felt the nudge of a small form on my hip. My head turned and my gaze fell upon the beautiful form of my daughter. She looked at the unknown female, said her name and asked who she was innocently. I looked at the female.

- Hello! This is my daughter. It is good to see another wolf around. How are you?

I asked. My voice, as always, carried an accent. It had been pretty hard to learn another language, little before I first arrived in Moladion. I let the wolfess reply and slowly turn to my daughter who sat beside me and gave her a lick between her ears affectionately.

- I told you to stay in the den, lovely, - My voice was sweet and kind. I wasn’t angry at her - Mom was just resting a moment. I was bringing a surprise for you both.

I just wanted to take a few herbs and show them what they do. But when I saw the river, I had to take a few minutes for myself. My head turned to look at the female again.
