Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

The Dancing Fool, Jester of Glorall
I'm a falling stone in a world of glass,
I'm a ticking bomb with a smiling mask.

An off-white face popped out from behind the wall of water and settled its spring green eyes upon the raucous that was being made, somehow just audible above the rush of the waterfall. Brutus had been minding his own business - which really could mean many different things for the Jester. In fact, minding his own business could very well have been minding someone else's business that he had simply made his own. Fortunately, though he was snooping and sniffing about, the scrawny male hadn't harassed anyone that day. Yet.

No, he had simply made the amazing discovery of a small, damp cave behind a waterfall and felt the need to explore every crevice of it, until he heard the out-of-place splashing and yipping from beyond the roaring wall and just had to take a look. His black-lined eyes stared and for several moments seemed to only be casually observing, but deep inside... his heart was slowly thudding faster and that gear on his back was winding up.

Paws splayed. Body lowered to the ground. Water pounding on his head - ow.

A howl and a mighty leap! He flew through the waterfall at the girl splashing around, coming just short of landing on her as he hit the water at tidal-wave inducing speeds.
