Well thats not likely, but if you listen to some people, cougars don't exist in Southern New England, even though we know they do. Always have to keep an open mind, lest you end up with egg on your face. What isnt clear is how much of a population is present. A few male stragglers wouldnt indicate an established population. But a juvenile changes the entire picture.
