Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

What's a guy to do on such a bright sunny day as this? I should be painting the world red by now and instead I'm entertaining yearlings and getting teeth snapped in my face. Not that I mind it from the likes of Ruvindra. She's a piece of work, that one. I might have to visit her in her homeland. Picking up on a scent, I follow it, only to find a gang of rogues picking on a lone two year old. The youngster looks scared out of his wits, his tail tucked, ears back as he slinks in the middle of the circle they've created, silently watching with pleading eyes as they snap at the air around him and laugh in his face.

Rolling my eyes, I scuff my paw. To intevene or not to intervene....ah hell. Before I know it, I'm stepping toward the circle. The rogues instantly turn my way, the self-made leader stepping forward, a snarl dripping from his charcoal lips. "Step back, punk. This doesn't concern you." A smaller gray wolf pipes up. "Yeah, we're just having a little fun. Pretend you never saw this." A big ugle white wolf with loads of scars adds in with a deadly growl, "or it'll be the last thing you ever see." In answer, I raise a brow and throw my head back, laughing in their faces, my tail swishing around my back legs. Calm down, lads. There's plenty of me to go around. Just wait your turn and I'll get to you when I'm done with your pals. The black wolf snarls, snapping his teeth in my direction. I curl my own lips back, a vicious snarl releasing. Without warning, I lunge at the black wolf, my fate already set.

Two hours later I boast new gashes and bite marks, a ripped ear and one dead black wolf. The leader went down easy enough once I got a chance at his throat. The white wolf was too impatient and he jumped in only to turn tail the moment I bit down on his back leg, breaking it between my jaws. The gray wolf didn't even try his luck. He took off right behind the white wolf. The hardest part was getting away from the two year old who wanted to thank me ten million times for saving his life. In the end, I had to threaten his life with a snap of my blood stained jaws before he got the hint and tore off across Moladian. With a satisfied sigh, I can continue on my boring journey. Now I have to go clean my fur and my face.

I make it to the water but unfortunately it's occupied. A soft growl in my throat, I move around the mass of splashing wolves, going to the corner to dip my paws in the water. It's freezing cold but I move into the shallow end anyways, shivering as the water turns pink to red around my paws.
