Travelling north on 295 last night saw what appeared to be a very large cat run across highway. There was a Mercedes in front of me that probably had a better look. I was five to seven hundred feet back from it's crossing. The animal had the same gait that I have seen on nature shows and even tv commercials. It was running very fast, much taller than a fox and had long tail of consistent diameter.
