Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

HiDE FROM YOUR FAMiLY

He knows that there’s an imprint out there somewhere. He knows that she’s going to be the fairest of them all, in his eyes… he knows that if it’s not Delta then he doesn’t want it. She was supposed to be his sister, yet she was so much more to him… so… so much more. Wires had gotten crossed. It was what happened when you were adopted by the gypsy mother. It was what happened when things that weren’t supposed to happen happened. It was what happened when the sky fell and your world got ripped apart. It was what happened when your actual mother died and your fathers were bat shit crazy and—yeah.

Dimitri knew better than anyone what happened. Things had gotten messy, is all. His head had taken over in a way he didn’t want it to, and that was too much. A million things rocketing around in his head were too much, and he could barely keep hold of it. He’d never been quite right. Something about the dark pup had always been off, and it wasn’t anything he wanted to explore further. He just… he was glad Delta was back, yes. He was glad she was here, but he… he ached for more. Dimitri ached to the core.

The shadowy young man moves closer to the girl, head lowered. It’s not until then that he realizes he can’t see the cream purple pearl of her eyes… how he’s missed those eyes, and even now he can’t see them. It’s slightly maddening, but he comes ever closer. “I was worried… you scared me half to death leaving.” His voice cracks slightly. For now, Dimitri is little more than a pup. He tremors slightly, watching the creature with something hurt in his eyes. Even now he’s hurt she left without saying goodbye. Everything in him shakes.

“I—“ She hadn’t said anything incorrect, not truly. “I needed a place to be, especially after you’d gone… I was hurting.” Another crack in his eyes, another thing shattering within his head. Maybe he’s glad her eyes are closed. Where he stands, the son of the shadows shakes. “I didn’t want to hurt anyone. Iromar was the safest place I could think of.” His logic hadn’t been in the right place at the time, but things had gotten easier there. It was considered okay to be in the state that he was prone to. There was a war inside his head, a constant struggle between nature and nurture. The light that had been poured into the child could only fight so hard against the dark he was born with.

At least with Delta before him he can feel sort of okay.
