had to keep the peanut butter feeders full yesterday as the hairy woodpeckers spent much of the day filling their beaks with as much pb as possible to take back to their fledglings
interesting side note: given the high prices for pb since the poor peanut crop of 2011, my purchases are limited to whatever is on sale; usually Kraft pb has the best sales; over the past 3 years, these birds have received the crunchy red label version of Kraft pb; for my last purchase of pb, i was able to buy only the unsweetened unsalted blue label version of Kraft pb; some of them are turning away from this "healthier" version of pb Replies: There have been no replies.
