On a trip along Wiley Road yesterday, the Milkweed was fresh and in full bloom. There were a moderate number of butterflies along the road, but No Monarchs. There was only 1 Great Spangled Fritillary on all those Milkweeds-even the European Skippers were ignoring the milkweed. This is similar to the experience reported in Muskoka.
