There was a Pension Board Committee meeting in the morning prior to the Pension Board meeting.
The purpose of this meeting was to decide about a permanent Plan Administrator. It was discussed about how the interim Plan Administrator was doing . It was decided to present a recommendation to the full board, to offer a contract to the interim Administrator, All of the committee members stated that the interim Administrator has been doing an excellent job. It was mentioned by the Plan Attorney that there have been 2 serious Pension matters arise in the past few months and they were both handled calm and efficient with no Panic or Drama injected, and this was accomplished
with only the 4 staff members ( one less than previously ) and we all received our Pension checks on time as usual.
Kudos go to Committee Chairman Mark McRae. He ran the Committee very smoothly . He also deserves credit for letting all the retirees in attendance speak.
At the Pension Board meeting, in the afternoon, the full Board voted to have the Board Chairman , Mark Bogush, negotiate a contract and bring it to the Full Board for approval or rejection.
