Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

What was she to do? She figured she could eventually pick her own scent up once more and follow it home, or at least find somewhere comfortable to sleep for the night. A shelf of stone wasn't her preferred resting place but, having been a nomad for the majority of her life, it wasn't exactly something she was new to. Still, she couldn't help but sigh in resignation after she called for, well, the only one she really wanted help from. Rather than sit around feeling sorry for herself, she took it upon herself to begin sniffing at the stone once more, trying to find some precise indication as to where she had come from. She had just been so enthralled in her adventure - rocks all looked the same, too. Would it rain? Would this place flood? It was things a nomad should know and yet she was clueless.

Just as those thoughts dawned on her, she heard the call of the one she had been waiting for. Her ears swiveled instantly in its direction, attempting to pin point his location before she yipped, scratching anxiously at the stone beneath her. How close was he? Maybe she hadn't been alone that long but it felt as if she had been and reality didn't always change feelings. Though she barely understood them herself, she understood that one thing seemed to put them at ease: the arrival of Meryl, his form illuminated above her before he began to pick his way down the shallow ravine. Her whine turned into a breath of relief as she scrambled towards him, her tail flailing behind her as she grinned up at him.

"This one came looking. Meryl left so suddenly. This one worried that Meryl had met danger."

She nodded as if it was but common knowledge, and though she saw the regret plastered across his face, her own joy seemed to hold it bay. She did not feel it, though she slowly felt the feelings of uncertainty creep over her. Still - he had come! He had come for her and now she knew he was not hurt. She even bounded within inches of him, sleuthing over him for any indication of harm. Though he reeked of healing herbs, she found not a sign of blood on him. Just as immaculate as ever, he was. That gladdened her even more so and it showed.

"This one got lost though - this place is new. Glad, though, that Meryl has come. To feel worry... it is not good."
