Just released is the amount of the 2013 Florida Premium Tax Distributions from the State of Florida to Municipal Fire and Police Pension Funds.
For Tampa the amount is : Fire = $3,416,106,.87
Police= $2,976,375.48
Total = $6,392,432.35
This will help our Fund along with what ever the Fund earns from investments .
I have been late in not Thanking the Board of Trustees and our Pension Office Staff for an out standing job over
the past year , No Drama , No Hyper Complaints about heavy work load , no excessive requests for Public Documents, in fact I was told, the previous Plan Administrator requested the most.
Last weeks meeting went very smooth.
Remember our Trustees are volunteers with no Pay for doing a sometimes taxing and thankless job.
