Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Why is it that Aithne seems drawn to those who are not of their right mind? By the end of all these encounters she might actually become a wolf therapist. Yes, then she could make them come to her and pay with food. The idea is a rather pleasing thought. Andras wouldn't be thrilled with people traipsing into Iromar so she'd have to sit at the border. It might hinder her just a tiny bit that she is a part of Iromar, but people would get over that fact after a while. She wouldn't eat them. The last wolf she had met had been preaching on and on about demons being the good guys and angels the bad guys and blah blah blah. A bunch of rubbish that she didn't care to hear. He had called her a demon though she was clearly not one, judging by the reactions she had first elicited from the white markings on her body, but once she did her own posturing and snarling everyone seemed to calm the hell down. Taking Aithne down would be a very serious endeavor by whomever might wish to undertake it and she'd guarantee a few wounds in defense.

As she heard his twisted words she couldn't help but thing he was speaking on tongues, for she had never heard Latin before. Then he turns to her and she can make out the scent of blood permeating the air, two different distinct scents of something that he has killed and his own wounds, and he talks about demons not living. In the pitch dark she assumes he means her, casting her mind back to the last meeting with the older wolf and her hackles raise, her tail pointing straight out, and she tenses. Waiting for the crazy male to attack, only he doesn't. She can almost feel his exhaustion from here. It calms her.

She cannot make out what is the victim of his violence, instead eyes him for a moment. "I am no demon." Well, it is better to get that out of the way if that is what he is referring to. Iromar though she may be she wasn't a part of the direct line. She was an outsider to the Moladion blood lines. "I am Aithne, of Iromar. Did that animal attack you or something?" It would be a weird turn of events if it did, but she had seen so much recently she couldn't rule it out.
