Yes, Mike, I have to admit that the Mancs did give us Vimto. Not to mention Socialism and Feminism if you're into stuff like that, though personally I'm more impressed by the tubular bandage which comes from up the road in Oldham.

Can I remind you though that it was in the Reeks where we first hit on the idea of catching a wild mountain goat, crowning it, then putting it into a cage and hoisting it up in the air where we can worship it for three days. A simple but brilliant idea without which we might never have thought of legally licencing pubs to stay open until 3 in the morning.
Now then. Do you still think the invention of Vimto was the work of a genius?
