Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

fourteen - Fenrir's heart - Heyel's soul - Spider of Spirane
sister of warlow, dam of sven *adopted*

this is her in blackouts

A day like today could easily be spent sun bathing and napping. The crisp summer air was ripe with scents of life and the sounds to accompany such smells. The slight creak of a branch above her as a bird landed followed by it's chirp and the squeaking of it's young eager to fill their miniscule bellies. Life would always survive and Molodian was a land nourishing. There was no place in this land one couldn't go if they wished different scenery. The mountains of Spirane were a constant backdrop to the west and it one ventured to the southeast they would run into the pristine waters of Glorall. Seas, swamps, mountains, meadows, and hills. It was a place that she had come to adore though her heart seemed to beat for the mountain spires.

Idly she watches as he shakes of the water, the way his fur edges back down and other pieces stay mussed. Her own pelt must look similar but she does not mind and a sudden breeze cools the water that drips down to her skin. Sunlight cuts through the swaying of the branches above her to illuminate her pale eyes the color of clear ice above water. After peeling off his own share of their snack he settles himself next to her and Natu's eyes scan between him and the land around them, catching the movements of squirrels playing beneath the forest's whispers while focusing upon Sleekwing's answer.

She smiles as he describes his children, or what he assumes they will be. There is an ache within her that she has long buried but never forgotten. The feeling of motherhood is precious, a worthy goal in life, to share the love of a child. Sadly she had not got to share such a bond with Sven in the beginning and has only hope now that they will come together in such a way. Her eyes crinkle at his statement of Malina, her lips pulling into a frown of confusion. She was with another female? Certainly Natu understands kinship with others of her own gender. Ailith was a sister to her and Mistletoe too yet there was never any desire for... such things. But then Purge had been in love with Skully and that had been strange too, but such things were the business of their partners.

It certainly explained Sleekwing's siring though. He had never struck her as the type to find some female and create a litter with disregard - that is why she had been so surprised to hear of his children. But if Malina was mated with a female then her imprint would be an easy selection to help ease the desire of motherhood and Natu could understand that if nothing else. Halfway she catches the mention of a demon and a flash if instant wariness blooms in her eyes and then it is gone. Sleekwing steers the conversation back to the children.

"I imagine they will be thrilled to spend time with their father. I cannot vouch for all but most children I have seen in my lifetime desire a closeness with their parents even when they feel such a thing is not possible." The words are true and kindly meant. Reassurance comes easy to her now, her disposition much improved since a year prior, and when he asks of Sven she pauses for only a heartbeat before speaking. There is less pain now than her recital to Daenery's. Her Queen has accepted and even forgiven her pain and Natu would heal from this.

"Sven is a good boy, Sleekwing. He has been wronged in his short life, and mostly by me." She drops her eyes for a moment, a sign of her displeasure at having done such a thing before looking up once more at her friend. "I was in a bad place the last time we met Sleekwing. I suffered from blackouts and, well, during one of those I must have taken Sven. He was playing in the woodlands with his brother. All I know is when I came to he was weeping and calling me a murderer for having hurt his brother and I had no recollection. I kept him with me because I found no sign of his mother and at least if he was with me I could make sure no other did him wrong. It was not until Everchime came from Taviora's diplomatic party that we found out he was her son. I was going to search for her, Sleekwing, I had planned to begin everywhere I could, but she came first. Yet I wonder sometimes..." Her voice falls quiet, hesitant almost. "Why did she not come seek him? Should not the burden of such horror have fallen on her too or am I selfish to think such things?"
