Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Dark, Dark!

Dark, dark! The Horror of darkness, like a shroud, wraps me and bears me on through mist and cloud. -Sophocles

Another has come to his summons. He can feel Eden's presence as the male moves through the mist. After all Underidge is a part of the mist, in tune with it like nothing else in this world. As it shifts to accommodate the size of the male it sends trembles through the rest of it's ethereal body. Underidge stands, his chest twitching, his ears sweeping back and forth and to the sides to catch every minute sound in the hushed world. The world hangs in expectancy of what will come. Maybe Underidge and Eden have been pushed together by the fates so that an explosion will occur. Or maybe they desired a melding of two spirits of similiar tastes. Either way they are both here on this unknown battleground with the knowledge that somewhere in this mist the other waits.

It does not matter that this male will be larger than him. It does not matter that he might be walking into the jaws of death. All that matters is that he feels in this male a kindred spirit. He can almost feel the way Eden desires to be prey. Underidge desires to be the monster in this scheme, the terrible villain, and he has found the perfect match to his play.

Underidge presses through the mist. Now his paws are silent, each step taken with deliberate care. The world does not wish to disappoint it. Rocks do not move as he steps over them, the silent rush of air past his paws gentle upon the gravel. His senses are on high alert. Eden is near - Underidge takes a circuitous route so that he comes in a half circle around Eden. He can barely make out the silvered form in the midst of the dense fog.

Hackles standing to attention, teeth bared, Underidge sees the large figure of Eden as he stands. Waiting. Perfect. This is a game. He has no plans to try and kill Eden - no doubt the male could kill him if Underidge was not quick, but his body is built slim like his fathers although taller. He is almost a skeleton the way he is proportioned. Maybe Eden will think him a ghost of the otherworld come to get him.

Underidge launches himself forward, darting low at Eden's hind leg, reaching out to snap - it will not be an easy bite if he gets a hold of him. It will be painful. If Eden is quick, which is likely, then Underidge will sweep up like a dragon from lore and attempt to grab the fluff of Eden's tail, to rip it, before he will dance to the side. It is all a game, remember. Fun.
