Re(2): ISMA at LCS Posted on 11/8/2014 at 10:03:31 PM by ROLLO33
I've known about this since May/June. My first thought was there's no way ISMA will come to town, unless LCS fixes the backstretch wall and the pits. Well I've been told that BOTH would be done, by the season opener. So I think it will be the first of MANY ISMA races, at LCS, for years to come. Lorain is a very racy, supermodified friendly track, and I think the racing will be spectacular. MSA always puts on an awesome show when they are there. I see no difference when the ISMA banner is hung. I also think a lot of the drivers will enjoy racing at LCS. The best winged supermodified racing is at Sandusky, always has been, always will be. But winged supers at Lorain will be a favorite for both fans and drivers in which this will be there first time at the "County".
My question is, will the 2 additional ISMA races in Ohio bring out any more supers for MSA? With there now being essentially 4 ISMA races in MSA's backyard. Will any of the teams that "sat out" the last couple of years, get their cars ready and run with MSA, and the 4 ISMA races? This could be a WIN-WIN, for both sanctions. Tsayyyyyyy,, Rollo Replies:
