Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Now, no one can be saved!
The stench of illness within the meat was apparent to Jaidah, the same illness that had spared so many from her wrath in the winter, and the banshee wanted nothing to do with it, aside from the fact it was obviously rancid. She laughs again, finding a sick glee in the gorging of the birds, their lack of knowledge about food born illnesses. Those bright and pale jade eyes seeming to shine in her sick glee as she grins with the stick between her teeth.

This innocent joy is ended the moment a heavy thud alerts her to the presence of one who is not her Reaver, white ears moving backward over her head as she bares her fangs and snarls, the stick breaks between her jaws and a cold rage grips her heart. Hackles raise as she stands, his words making her bristle as she stares with dilated pupils, darting down to his paws, then up to his eyes. Narrowing her lids, she backs up as he closes into the rancid body, the birds shouting and cawing, buzzards hissing as she watches. Their reaction to him was just like hers, though she stops after only a few steps, a refusal to give him any more room than this. "Something had to eat it." She states simply, eyes constantly gauging him, probing him, searching for some particular weakness, or an outstanding strength. He is curious, and she can see it, but her answers will only come to questions he asks. She doesn't offer anything but a tense apprehension, something about him making her edgy and anxious.

He was larger than she, but something she had that he did not know was her secret. He would be wise not to push this female, step cautiously. Jaidah is not one for strange wolves, and she has no room for another male figure in her life. Or does she?
