K&B PROMOTIONS HIRES EMMERICH AS MEDIA DIRECTOR FOR UPCOMING RACE SEASON

SANDUSKY, OH, March 18th, 2015- The K&B Promotions family of tracks and series officially announced earlier today that part-time writer Jarrett Emmerich is returning to the fold for the 2015 season in a much bigger way. The sixteen-year-old�s official duties now include media responsibilities for all five of the group�s branches, highlighted by taking the Sandusky Speedway into its 66th season and also featuring the Main Event Racing Series outlaw body super late models, the Midwest Supermodified Association, the Buckeye Super Sprint Series non-wing sprint cars, and the Sandusky Speedway Go Kart Series. �Jarrett has established himself as one of the best communicators in American motorsports with a deep understanding of both racing and the English language. The track is regaining its rightful spot at the pinnacle of American motorsports and bringing Jarrett on full-time is the move that we needed to make to help move ourselves to the next level�, according to K&B Promotions director Kevin Jaycox.

About Sandusky Speedway: Sandusky Speedway is a half mile lightly banked pavement racing oval located in Perkins Township, near Sandusky, Ohio (home of the world famous amusement park, Cedar Point). The Sandusky Speedway contested its first event on May 14th, 1950. The speedway runs four weekly divisions of racing, the modifieds, Ohio Stocks, Street Stocks, and Hobby Stocks in a schedule that runs from April through September with special events in October and January. Sandusky Speedway has held host to several racers that went on to national fame, such as 13-time NASCAR Cup Series winner and 1980 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year Tim Richmond and USAC/IndyCar veteran Todd Gibson and Daytona Beach Road Course veteran Joy Fair.
